This page will advertise vacancies for Classics teachers. It will also give space for teachers in search of a job. Please email JACT with details.

The Iris Project is an educational charity working to promote access to Classical subjects in UK state schools. It was founded in the belief that the opportunity to learn about the fascinating languages, literature, histories and art of the Ancient World should be made available to all, regardless of background. Through various initiatives, it seeks to awaken and nurture an interest in the Classics by making it accessible and appealing to a broad audience.

If you would like to be involved in the outreach work, please contact us through the website at www.irismagazine.org.

HEAD OF FRENCH AND LATIN

For independent prep school, NW LONDON Start Sept 2008

An inspirational Teacher is required to lead the teaching of French and Latin, preparing, as necessary, boys for senior school scholarship at 13+ Both subjects are well supported by the school and there are currently two other members of staff, including the Head who contribute to the teaching of French in the senior part of the school.
